The flaxen mare awoke to the rising sun, long golden lashes blinking away sleepiness. The golden-colored filly lay on her side. Soft breathing emmited from her lungs, her daggers tucked under her bod. Her whipcord lashed, shooing away the gathered flies. Koji lay there for a moment morem before heaving her mass from the ground. She stoood there for a moment, shooing the last of her dreariness. Today was the start of her new herd life. The filly took several steps forward, tall trees shaded her resting area. She came to a tall willow tree that stood near a large lake. She came to the body of water at a gallop, splashing her hooves in it rather then drinking. She stood, her front daggers emerged in the cooling water.
Minutes later, the filly was lounging under the large willow, nibbling at grass and shooing flies. Her black orbs blinked lazily, the wind nutsing her mane's postition. The land was from her dreams, what she had imagined when she came for herd life. What she had imagined and more. The young mare stood in pleasure under the tree, in her new home.
